【Prep seminar】FS2017 - Understanding the rural area -
Date: 2017.5.13(Sat)
Eights students went on a Prep seminar to visit Professor Masaru Nishiyama, Department of Culture and History, School of Humanities at Kwansei Gakuin University.
They studied about deciphering the history from Buddhist paintings, and also learnt that there used to be the profession called “E-toki”.
Above all, they are so impressed by the facts that the areas “Kumano and Ise”, because of their locations, have always been prosperous and globally oriented from the old times.
He also talked us about some specter and phantom stories of Japanese folklore.
After the session, we would like to add our itinerary to go to Kamikura Shrine,
although we have to go up the steep stairs.
